friendship or love will prevails?

First of all..
If someone whom you're treating him well tells out the things you shared to him,
will he still a friend of yours?

For me, i prefer friendship than a girl whom we both getting interest in...
unless she's my girl then it's different thing!

and yet, if i was treated in betrayal then i suppose that that person would not be a friend anymore...

what is a friend?
-is someone where you won't feel shy when you both are doing stupid things together
-is someone that will share and borrow his or her ears to you whenever you need one
-is someone who will care about you
-is someone who will forgive you at instance
-is someone who will give out helping hands and counts nothing
-is someone who will be frank to each others

but that were the explanations that defined by human beings from their experiences...
the actual meaning?
friends equals to understanding.....
